In our Master’s Sermon on the Mount, we read:

“When thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” (Matthew 6:6 when)

Our Reading Room provides a peaceful place to fulfill this command.  You can also read the Weekly Bible Lesson, and borrow or buy authorized Christian Science literature. The members of this church are working in and praying for our Reading Room — holding it up in thought as a place set apart for effective prayer, study, and listening.
